Our Story

​

Born and raised in Orange County, Michelle Hough’s connection to the architectural and construction industry started early. As a teenager, she spent her summer and holiday breaks working alongside her dad, logging hours and filing project documents in his sheet metal shop. She may not have known it at the time, but those early experiences were the beginning of a career in the building industry.

After graduating from USC with a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship, Michelle initially pursued a career in fashion as a buyer. When that path didn’t quite work out, her father introduced her to one of his vendors, Integrated Marketing Concepts (IMC). She joined the company in 2006 and quickly developed a passion for the architectural building products industry.

During her nearly two decades with IMC, Michelle learned to read architectural plans and specifications and built strong, lasting relationships with leading architects, general contractors, subcontractors, and industry professionals throughout Southern California.

In 2025, Michelle took the next step in her career by founding MDH Facade Solutions, an independent architectural representative firm focused on bringing innovative, high-quality building products and personalized service to the Southern California market.

When she’s not busy running MDH, Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband, Dave, their sons, Mason and Dylan, and their Goldendoodle, Kofi. Whether they’re at the beach, traveling, or cheering on the kids at their sporting events, family is at the heart of everything she does.
